Top 5 Christmas Candles of 2017

I love candles and I think the festive season is the time to buy them so you can enjoy the scent of winter spice and all things nice all year round. I burn candles at home almost every evening to help me unwind and relax.

If like me, you have left your Christmas shopping to the last minute or feel like treating yourself to a new candle read on for my recommendations on the top festive candles for 2017.

1.Diptyque Paris, Foret Givree ( Frosted Forest) This really is the most beautiful candle of them all for me. Fir needles, Hinoki Wood and mint take you off to a mystical forest land reflected in a majestic unicorn on the front of this emerald green jar.

2.ESPA, Winter Spice Candle A firm favourite of mine since 2005 when I worked as a spa therapist at Turnberry, Scotland. Every time I light it the scent of sweet orange, cinnamon and ginger takes me back to my time there. Think log fires and mince pies! Bliss!!!

3.Jo Malone, Green Almond and Redcurrant Christmas Candle The warming, nutty yet citrusy fragrance of this candle is perfect for a winter day in and the colourful jar reminds me of a Christmas candy cane.

4.Liz Earle, Eucalyptus and Rosemary Botanical Candle Inspired by the cult classic Cleanse and Polish, this aromatic candle has herbal top notes of eucalyptus, pine, birch, cypress and hints of black pepper.

5.Neom Organics, Christmas Wish Candle Traditional Christmas scents of mandarin, cinnamon and Tonka bean engulf your home to help you get into a festive mood. I love the copper details on the jar.
